I am from the United States and had never been to Cambodia before. I was traveling with a close friend of mine. We came to Siem Reap after a few days in Phnom Penh. We had experienced pushy and not so honest drivers in Phnom Penh which was an upsetting experience. When we arrived by boat in Siem Reap, Sophoern greeted us with a friendly sign that made him stand out. We were so lucky to have run into him. He was so nice, helpful and very funny. He was a very memorable part of our trip. He drove us everywhere we wanted to go for two days and told us everything we wanted to know about the area and the ruins. He was a huge asset to our trip. Our last night in Siem Reap, we invited his son and wife out to dinner with us and had a really nice time. If you are traveling to Siem Reap and want to have the best experience possible, contact Sophoern. He is someone you can trust and will make your trip more enjoyable. If I return to Cambodia, I plan to hire Sophoern again. |

Recently back from a trip to see Angkor Wat and surrounding temples made all the more enjoyable by Sophoeurn - our Tuk Tuk driver and guide. He speaks good English, as an excellent knowledge of the whole area and is a pleasant and likeable guy. He will make your trip that little bit more special. So hire him next time you are there. |

We can recommend Sophoeurn enough. He was a gracious host and knowledgeable driver. He knew good times to see all the temples, good places and was willing to wait around while this obsessive photographer waited for the perfect light! He was highlight of our trip. We booked Sophoeurn through his website and he turned up as arranged to begin our four day tour of Angkor. He recommended an itinerary and gave us good advice about the best places to visit at the best times, but never interfered with our decisions and always took us wherever we wanted. He gave us a good price and stuck to it and looked after us the whole time. His English is much better than most other drivers in the area so you don't need a separate tour guide. Visiting the wonderful temples of Angkor in a tuktuk is great fun and it was a pleasure to have Sophoeurn as our driver - he was honest and reliable and we would not hesitate to recommend him.
