I am from the United States and had never been to Cambodia before. I was traveling with a close friend of mine. We came to Siem Reap after a few days in Phnom Penh. We had experienced pushy and not so honest drivers in Phnom Penh which was an upsetting experience. When we arrived by boat in Siem Reap, Sophoern greeted us with a friendly sign that made him stand out. We were so lucky to have run into him. He was so nice, helpful and very funny. He was a very memorable part of our trip. He drove us everywhere we wanted to go for two days and told us everything we wanted to know about the area and the ruins. He was a huge asset to our trip. Our last night in Siem Reap, we invited his son and wife out to dinner with us and had a really nice time. If you are traveling to Siem Reap and want to have the best experience possible, contact Sophoern. He is someone you can trust and will make your trip more enjoyable. If I return to Cambodia, I plan to hire Sophoern again.

Recently back from a trip to see Angkor Wat and surrounding temples made all the more enjoyable by Sophoeurn - our Tuk Tuk driver and guide. He speaks good English, as an excellent knowledge of the whole area and is a pleasant and likeable guy. He will make your trip that little bit more special. So hire him next time you are there.

I was very lucky to meet Sophoeurn on my first day in Siem Reap. He maid my stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxed. He was my guide, driver, translator, guard and friend. He is very knowledgeable and proud of his country. We had an amazing experience going to Preah Vihear on a motor bike 8 hours one way. My life literally was in his hands. When we arrived in Siem Reap, it was Sophoeurn's unasauming sigh that caught our attention. He has been the most courteous and helpful driver. We have realy enjoyed our three days in Siem Reap and Sophoeurn has taken us to see the most incredible temples. The best in sight we could have gaired into boling life in Cambodaia was gleaned today over rice and later in sheetering from a long monsoon downpour. We wish Sophoeurn all the best in his dreams and plans for the futture and hope that everyone else .Who jouneys with him gets time to enjoy his friendly nature.

Seven reson to go with Sophoeurn
1/. It can be a bumpy ride , but his Tuk Tuk is really comfortable soft cushious, a lot room.
2/. He is reliable, you can store your luggage during the temple visits without cocem .
3/. He is knowledge able: let him take you, he really knows what is a good sequence, and what are nice temples.
3/.He is honest: He will tell you if something is better by bike ..,ets.
5/. He is dircet(in a outch manmw), he gives a good fixed price and you get what you pay for.
6/.He has a good price compared to other people.
7/.He is a very nice person: Humoristic, tells great stories(if asked)about Cambodian life and history.

This guy is awesome. A fob driver and guide, very safe, charity and friendly. if you are reading this you maybe pondering and whether to hire him and not, take my advice and do, as we have just had a fantastic 3 days with him. Easily contactable. if he plans change and has excellent route if you like us didn’t really have a clue. How to get about the enormity of Angkor and the fantastic temples!

“We met Sophoeurn @ the bus stop, having traveled up from Phnom Penh. On arrival at the bus station Sophoeurn was the only tuk-tukdriver who stood back from the many hassling drivers crying for business. We were completely surrounded and then saw Sophoeurn in the background with his “hassle-free" sign advertising his services. We pointed to him and he came straight away and helped us with our luggage. Sophoeurn is a very honourable and kind man. He is friendly and does not overcharge you. We spent 4 days using his services and he was great, full of knowledge and not pushy and also very reasonable in his prices. “We had 3 wonderful days with Sophoeurn as our driver around the temples. He organized a thoughtful program that let us see the entire temple area without feeling lost or overwhelmed.. We could not have done it without him !! One favorite moment, however, should be mentioned . When we entered the Ta Prohm temple we decided not to take our umbrellas (it was rainy season). By the time we were at the farthest point from the parked Tuk Tuk, it began to pour.. We took cover as best we could under the ruins. We need not have been worried. Within minutes Sophoeurn arrived with 2 umbrellas in hand. This sums it up for us. He is a great driver and a really nice man. Highly recommended."
